Clean It Up

Modern sanitation is not only awesome, it serves a greater purpose. In the times before sanitation was a widely accepted and practiced concept, people got sick by many preventable diseases and illnesses that were spread through human waste.
When hand washing became accepted as a scientifically-backed way to combat illness, many lives were potentially saved. Between toilets, sinks, dishwashers, and washing machines, we are much better equipped to deal with the threat that is poor hygiene.
Keeping the positive attributes of sanitation in mind, there is a bit of a trade-off: these things all require water and heat to be effective. This is normally just an afterthought, maybe not even a thought at all. Of course you need water, who cares? Nobody does, until a leak occurs.
While most people will likely go there entire lives without ever experiencing a catastrophic house or business flood, some people will not be so lucky. When a flood occurs, most of the time there is nobody around to mitigate damage or shorten the amount of time the water has to spread.
Washers can have a small leak that goes undetected for months, seemingly biding their time until the most inopportune moment to rupture, sending deluges of water through your home. When this happens, call SERVPRO of Hacienda Heights / Rowland Heights. With over a decade of experience in water damage restoration, we can help return your property to preloss conditions.
