A difficult discussion

You sometimes get difficult jobs in this line of work. Whether it is arriving on-scene to a house fire and meeting the family who potentially just lost many of their most prized possessions (the house not withstanding), the office building that experienced a pipe burst and lost all of their computers, a house where a hoarder lives, or any other type of difficult situation, some jobs just aren't easy to deal with.
The worst of these jobs by far are crime scene cleanup or any other type of bio job where someone lost their life. I will spare you the details, but certain things can not be unseen and remain with you for a long time after the fact.
I personally have only been out to a handful of these types of jobs, so I feel a bit unqualified to speak on the topic at all. That being said, our technicians have been on quite a few. There are many things that a regular person would shy away from, whereas SERVPRO of Hacienda Heights / Rowland Heights technicians handle themselves professionally and with the utmost courtesy. In the event of a death, people are shaken up for a multitude of reasons. Aside from the sometimes grisly nature of the cleanup itself, our team conducts themselves in such a way that eases the shock of the circumstances for those involved.
Some things are not pretty. Luckily, SERVPRO is here to help when the going gets rough and work needs to be done.
